Week 2 — TestNG & PyTest Frameworks

- Data-driven testing using Data Providers and parameterisation
- Test grouping, prioritisation, and dependency management

Week 3 — Page Object Model (POM) & Page Factory Design
- Introduction to automation design patterns
- Page Object Model (POM) architecture and implementation
- Creating reusable and maintainable automation frameworks
- Page Factory concepts and annotation-based element handling
- Managing locators and reducing code duplication
- Framework structuring and modular test design
- Implementing utility classes and configuration management
- Best practices for scalable test automation projects
Week 4 — Advanced Selenium Interactions
- Handling JavaScript alerts and confirmation dialogs
- Working with iframes and nested frames
- Managing multiple browser windows and tabs
- Advanced mouse and keyboard interactions using ActionChains
- Drag-and-drop, hover actions, and context menu operations
- Executing JavaScript within Selenium scripts
- Handling dynamic and AJAX-based web applications
- File upload, download, and browser-based validations
Week 5 — Selenium Grid & Parallel Test Execution
- Introduction to Selenium Grid architecture
- Hub-node configuration and distributed test execution
- Parallel test execution strategies for faster automation
- Containerised Selenium Grid setup using Docker
- Cross-browser and cross-platform testing techniques
- Cloud-based automation testing with Sauce Labs
- Scalable execution pipelines and resource optimisation
- Performance monitoring and execution reporting
Week 6 — CI/CD Integration, Reporting & Capstone Project
- Introduction to Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
- Integrating Selenium frameworks with Jenkins pipelines
- Automated build triggering and scheduled test execution
- Advanced reporting using Allure Reports
- Screenshot capture, logging, and failure analysis
- Version control integration with Git and GitHub
- Automation framework optimisation and maintenance
- Capstone project: Build and deploy an end-to-end Selenium automation framework integrated with CI/CD pipelines
Project: Build a complete test suite for a real web app.
